May 5th, 2008 by Karen

Although Microsoft has delayed the distribution of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) through the Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center, it has released the full installation CD ISO image for Windows XP with SP3 on both the MSDN and TechNet subscription Web Sites.

Chris Keroack, Release Manager, Windows Serviceability stated: “Microsoft is pleased to make available integrated retail and volume license installs of Windows XP SP3, (also referred to as slipstream builds) to MSDN and TechNet Plus subscribers.”

The file name of the Windows XP SP3 RTM Build 5512 slipstream version is: en_windows_xp_professional_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_vl_x14-73974.iso

If you are still waiting for XP SP3 RTM, the final version can be downloaded from here
