At home or in the office it is important to keep your computer as secure as possible, especially when more than one user shares the same computer
One way to secure the computer is to enable secure logon, this is where the user is asked to press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to log on.
When secure logon is enabled, another program (such as a virus) cannot intercept the user name and password as it is entered.

You have Windows 7 installed on your home computer which is not shared with any other users and you would like to speed up the process of logging into the computer every time it restarts, you can adjust the user account properties so that you are not prompted for a username or password at logon

The Windows 7 Reliability Monitor is a tool that measures hardware and software problems and other changes to your computer in the form of a stability index, this can then be used to help evaluate the reliability of the computer. Any changes made to the computer or problems that occur on the computer affect the stability index.

Microsoft will kick off the full scale roll-out of the Web browser “ballot screen” early next week, this will end up being served to all Windows/Internet Explorer users in Europe to comply with the deal that the European Commission and Microsoft arrived at in December 2009
Te browser ballot screen is designed to give users in the European Union a choice of additional browsers, these include Opera, Firefox and Google Chrome.

The resolution you can use depends on the resolutions your monitor supports. The larger the monitor, usually the higher the resolution it supports. Whether you can increase your screen resolution depends on the size and capability of your monitor and the type of video card you have.
