Are Businesses adopting Windows Vista?

Windows XP SP3 re-boot problems

Recent reports have shown yet another problem with one of the Microsoft Service Packs. Windows XP SP3 is sending some users computers into endless reboots after installation – that sounds familiar you cry! – yes, a similar problem that occurred with Windows Vista SP1 back in February, but is the cause the same?

Microsoft make available a new version of IE 7 for Windows XP SP3 RTM

Microsoft on May 6 made available a new 32 bit version of Internet Explorer 7 (IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe) for Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) as a standalone download accompanying the service pack’s release.

Microsoft has failed to reveal if it has changed IE7 for XP SP3 in any way, although it is likely that changes have been made to adapt the browser to the new service pack and nothing more

Microsoft makes available Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista SP1

After a weeks delay, Microsoft yesterday (Tuesday 6 May) finally made available Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) for web download and has resumed the automatic updates to Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1).

Microsoft makes available the XP SP3 Integrated Slipstream image on MSDN & TechNet

Although Microsoft has delayed the distribution of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) through the Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center, it has released the full installation CD ISO image for Windows XP with SP3 on both the MSDN and TechNet subscription Web Sites.
