Microsoft recently updated their Windows XP Mode which runs on Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate editions.
The new version of Windows XP Mode will no longer require hardware virtualization technology to run, which is a great plus feature for those running Windows XP who want to upgrade to Windows 7 and overcome application compatibility problems, but do not have a CPU supporting hardware virtualization
Windows XP Mode will still continue to use hardware virtualization technology such as Intel VT (Intel Virtualization Technology) or AMD-V if available.
To find more information and download the update, visit the Microsoft Web site.

If you have several windows open, you can minimize all of them except the active one (this is the window you want to keep open).
The normal way that this can be achieved is to minimize each window. However, with Aero Shake, simply click the top bar of the active window and shake it. That specific action tells Windows 7 to minimize all other open windows.

When secure logon is enabled, another program (such as a virus) cannot intercept the user name and password as it is entered.
